About Castlify

Castlify is a cloud-based streaming infrastructure tool designed for broadcasters, content creators, and media companies who need to convert HLS and M3U8 streams into RTMP outputs.

We built Castlify because existing solutions for HLS to RTMP conversion were either too complex (requiring FFMPEG knowledge and always-on hardware) or unreliable. Broadcasters needed a simple, professional-grade service that just works.

Why we built this

Many content operators have HLS streams from their encoders, CDNs, or media servers but need to distribute to platforms like YouTube Live, Twitch, or Facebook that require RTMP input. The traditional approach involves running OBS, Wirecast, or custom FFMPEG scripts on dedicated hardware.

This creates problems: hardware costs, maintenance overhead, and reliability issues. If your computer restarts or your internet drops, your stream stops.

Castlify moves this infrastructure to the cloud. You provide your HLS source and your RTMP destination, and we handle everything in between—reliably, automatically, and without requiring technical expertise.
